Hmm . . . not my experience!
Pros
Small size; fits in the hole left by the ashtray perfectly.
Cons
The angle at which the head sits blocks the top line of the display.
Recommended it?
Yes
Not to disparage the previous poster . . . this is my 2nd Sirius unit. My Mustang GT has a SIR-PNP3, so I have some basis for comparison. I had a Starbase installed in my '04 Volvo C70. The Mustang has the Mach 460 system, and the Volvo the SC-901 system with Dolby Pro-Logic surround sound and Volvo's optional pair of 9" subwoofers. I run the PNP3 in my Mustang through a cassette adapter, which yields great sound quality. So, I figure, the FM1's FM modulator had a lot to live up to. I think the sound quality is excellent! The full spectrum is accurately reproduced, and I think it compares to the PNP3 very well.
