Great when connected with audio cables
Got the Starbase when I purchased my 2005 Lexus RX330 because I wanted a low-profile unit. I was able to mount the display below the shifter and hide the head unit completely out of sight - a nice clean install. Good little system
The problem with these fm transmitter/modulators is the car's antenna, if u have a new model car u can easily unscrew the antenna and replace it with a smaller one or a fake one like I did, once that is in place you will get perfect sound and no static from your Sirius tuner. Not to disparage the previous poster . . . this is my 2nd Sirius unit. My Mustang GT has a SIR-PNP3, so I have some basis for comparison. I had a Starbase installed in my '04 Volvo C70.
