Satellite Radio is outta this world, but Sportster is less than a stellar product

Cut out the static!

the worst experience ever!

Sportster 4 ok
First off - the unit is fantastic. Sirius did a good job with it. However, the fm modulator is complete trash. If you do not hard wire your unit to an auxillary port (front or back of your car stereo) it WILL NOT get reception. I roll down the street listening to snoop dog and the rice crispy band... Small sleek unit compared to others
I got this unit back in early Sept 06 when my XM Sky Fi Delphi 2 got stolen at the mall when I parked there to attend a Yankee game. I had bought this off of eBay and had it installed at Circuit City (Middletown NY). They did a good job there with the XM and liked their service.

To make sure you're on top of your favorite teams, program Game Alert to let you know whenever your favorite NFL, NBA, NHL, and college team is about to take the field. With NFL broadcasts, you can even choose whether you want to listen to the home or away announcers. The SP4-TK1 automatically records the last 44 minutes of the channel you're listening to. Just hit the Rewind button to get an instant replay of the game-winning touchdown, or press Pause if, say, you're interrupted by a phone call. The 44-minute memory clears every time you change the channel or turn the SP4-TK1 off. And if you're driving to a game, you can program the front-panel Jump button to go directly to your SIRIUS traffic and weather channel to get traffic updates.
