Pros Large Aperature, Sturdy Mount, Ease of setup and use. Price was right.
Cons Lack of tracking, Mount can't be set up directly on grass.

Pros Optics are excellent for the price, design is simple enough for even casual observers.
Cons Heavy and difficult for single person to transport. No serious astrophotography.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this scope used on Ebay several months ago. I've had half a dozen viewing sessions with it and I am absolutely delighted with this scope in nearly every way!

Pros Great light grasp, clarity, ease of use. Quick setup.
Cons Heavy and bulky. Dobsonian mount lacks the precision of an equitorial.
Recommended it? Yes

This is an update 1 year after purchase. We have since mastered nebulas, and some deep-sky objects. I will note - the motorized drives would be nice, and in retrospect, I wish I'd gotten them.
