Pros Great image, wood frame, well laid out menus, settings and albums.
Cons Factory flaws. Can't flip a photo or view just one out of slide show sequence.
Recommended it? Yes

We bought 3 of these frames as Christmas presents from Costco. I chose this frame for it's feature set. The screen resolution (800 X 600) as well as the on board

My 3rd Picture Frame. Very good, almost Hi-Def frame. I spent 30 mins in JandR.com store comparing colors. This one has vibrant colors.

Pros Nice wooden design, Images were very clear (when the frame was working)
Cons This frame does not work with images generated on an Apple computer
Recommended it? No

I was initially able to load images directly from my Apple computer (using a USB cable) and via a CompactFlash card. The image quality was very good, however, the frame stopped working when I was loading additional images from the CF card and it would not power up again.

I bought a SmartParts SPX8 a few weeks ago. The color reproduction was very poor--there was almost no red/yellow in the image, just a lot of blue/green. Pros appearance,auto on/off,music for slide show,very similar to an actual frame
Cons needs to accommodate more song formats, poorly designed frame to screen attachment

The outer frame is very similar to an actual photo frame. It's even covered by a piece of glass. This model has a very pleasing appearance compared to many I've looked at. Cons Freezes up 9 out of 10 times, preventing photo upload

I loved the idea of this...and was so disappointed that neither of the two frames I bought work! They would not load photos!
