Man, it's out too soon!
Pros
small, first mp3 player
Cons
only holds 1 battery, less features.
Recommended it?
Yes
I believe that Rio 300 was the very first mp3 player that came out in the US. I may be wrong, but seems like it to me.
The Rio mp3 player is a great mp3 player, but the bad part is that it's build-in memory card, so that means if you messed up your memory, then you HAVE to buy another player, or you can go buy another memory card to plug it in, which I don't think it's a good idea.
Even though it was small, but it has a little features, because it was the first mp3 player they've ever made. Because Rio 300 was the first one and with very less features, they came up with the Rio 300 2nd edition to back up the first one.
Another bad thing about the Rio 300 is that it has its own kind of read/write cord from your pc to your mp3 player, if somehow you lose it or broken, man, you are in bad luck, I haven't seen the cord for Rio 300 in the market YET, but maybe you can try the Rio's website and check with them.
After all, since it's the first mp3 player, it's relly not that bad.
