The SP150 has gotten a lot of undeserved bad press/user comments. For the price, you get a decent MP3/CD player that even plays WMA files. Using WMA, I was able to get 11 CDs on 1 CDR which the SP150 played flawlessly. The Display is great considering some of the other sparce displays out there on other players. The ID3 Tags capability is great. So far, the anti skip mechanism works good. The battery life is not all that bad. I am using rechargeables - of course.
The sound volume could be much better though and the supplied earphones are not that great. But don't we all already have a decent pair. I'm using mine of course.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this player - many great features for the price. If you find one out there at a great price, get it (but always be safe and get it from a store that you can return it just in case - you should do that for anything though.
