SP150-Decent until it broke.

Pros Price, easy to use
Cons Durability, loading time, battery usage, size
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Don't buy it unless you feel like taking a gamble on a flimsy product that can break with just one small drop.
I want to say from the get-go that my experience with the SP150 was good until about last Monday. It performed decently, with about 7 hours (rough) battery life from a set of AA batteries. Complaints would have included INTERMINABLE wait times and weird instances when the song would change without the ID3 or track number changing midsong. It is also incredibly bulky.

What happened last Monday, however, takes the cake. I dropped the player about 2 feet, probably less, and it died. Apparently there is this little piece of metal holding in the batteries in the bottom, and it got lost when it fell. A unit should be able to withstand more than a 2 foot fall on to something soft.

Because of this, I have ordered an iRiver SlimX and am not looking back. If you are looking to get an MP3/CD player, take an upgrade to the iRiver player. You won't regret it.
