Great CD/MP3 player, nothing tops

Pros functionality, support, skip protection
Cons NONE!
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  This player is packed with everything u can imagine. It is absolutely one of the best CD/MP3 players on the market
Overall there have been 2 mp3 players that have had my attention, and have been my favorite. The RioVolt, and the iPod are the 2 best players on the market. When I first started with the mp3 scene, I didnt want to stop listening to my 300+ cds, so I looked for a good mp3/cd player. This is the best one I could find. The price is good, has incredible functions, great skip protection, and is one of the top rated players out there.

skip protection:
Great skip protection, I can shake the player non-stop, and it will never skip on me. Its is a great player.

controls:
The controls are very easy to use. I love having the remote control available as i keep the player tucked away somewhere. Also, the control has a little monitor on it so you can view the songs you are choosing right there.

support:
The support for the Volt is astounding. it has the capability to play mp3s (duh), wma, and even supports id3 tags. I love being able to see the name of the song instead of "track 1." This continues into my display section.

display:
Overall I think that the display is very good. It has a backlight for night use and displays file names. One of the best features i have seen is the players ability to show drop menus. If you burn a cd with the mp3s separated into folders, the player reccognizes this, making it easier to browse the collection of mp3s. One of the better funtions contained by the player.

In the end, if you want a great cd/mp3 player for the same reason i did...to continue with mp3s while never forgetting about your rusty old cds, the get the RioVolt. It has all the functions you can look for in an mp3 player, and is one of the best players on the market. I would reccomend this to anyone.
