Rio Volt SP90 Personal CD Player

For the money I don't think this one can be beat. You Get 120 seconds of anti-skip while playing MP3's. Let me tell you I don't think that it could be made to skip and I have tried everything just less than a drop to the floor. If you plan on listening to primarily regular CD's look to another brand. I personnaly use no regular Cd's in it. I did test it with a couple of them and that was the extent of it. It seemed to perform well with CD's but the battery life and anti-skip suffered quite a bit (though still acceptable). It really stands out with MP3's. I record my MP3's at 128kbps and the quality is great. I get 170 - 200 songs on a single CD. You can burn your MP3's in sub folders and organize them however you like at the time of burning and the ReoVolt will allow you to browse them just as they were burned. I always burn mine Genre Folders then inside of them I place the Artists Folders and again inside of those Album Folders and it works wonderfully. It comes with ear bud phones they sound great, and they are ok on the comfort meter. The EQ (rock,Jazz,X-bass,flat,classical)presets seem to cover most types of music, and are very easy to access. It also has options to ajust anti-skip length with CD's and skip rate for FF and Reverse.I got this one for my girlfriend and she loves it. She is very active and says she has no trouble with skipping. She always uses MP3 CD's. I have the SP250 for myself and I love it also. I have had zero problems with either unit. got mine at Amazon.
