it won't turn on
Pros
I was disappointed in a way that I dont see any pros about this product.
Cons
Went dead after one year, Very high repairing cost, Bad after sales service.
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Never buy a SONY TV, it went dead after one year, the cost to repair was almost as much as buying a new TV, and the after sales service sucks.
We bought our SONY BRAVIA, from about a year and half.
The TV came with a guarantee of 1 year , After one year, and less than a year effective usage (as I was abroad), it happened sometimes that the TV won’t turn on, until we remove the plug and leave for five minutes or so.
This problem persists, and the TV came dead and won’t turn on at all. I took the TV for maintenance, they told me that the power board is not working and must be changed and the price was almost as much as buying a new TV. I bought SONY as I trusted the name and didn’t mind to pay the highest price in the market in return for good performance and a professional after sales service. I expected it to live longer.
I contacted SONY, not only the authorized dealer and they did not solve the problem.
I really hoped that SONY would be more understanding and would offer a better after sales service, but I realized that SONY’s promises of good performance are just untruthful, the reputation and the advertisements were deceitful.
I really hoped that I would not make a bad review about SONY and my experience.
I thought that SONY would think more about how effective the customers’ reviews and complains are important and would deal more seriously about it.
Such defects can affect the whole attitude of the customer base. Once the customer confidence in a product has been damaged, it can be extremely difficult to recover that confidence.
