This sony television is a great set, i have done a lot of research on 32 inch tv,s and for the money this system is the best. Overall quality and picture is great, hooked up blu-ray dvd player sony model and remote operates both systems. Use hdmi cables and the picture is real and clean, and on standard tv, the set has a digital tuner built in so that means cable raedy or analog. There is no need to buy digital convertor box, just an antenna. The set is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, and sony name speaks for itself when speaking of electronics
