This camcorder gave me aggravation. It is sleek-looking, has NightShot and has Hi8 recording. I loved the color viewfinder. What I didn't realize was that the camcorder was defective. It was brand-new and I was getting white streaks on the picture; especially during the last hour of recording. Finally, the camcorder was unuseable. The video drum was creasing all my tapes and ruining them. It was too expensive to fix so I just play with it now, sans tape, as a toy.
