This is one of those misunderstood pieces of audio equipment.I wont go into technical specifications as others have already done that here.I will just simply tell you that this unit is simple to use and very reliable if you know what not to do to it.It is very important that you keep any of these high capacity cd players regardless of the brand on a level surface, due to the way they store the disks internally.The second most important thing is to make sure that you slip in the disk in its proper slot all the way down the track,if the disk jumps the track slot that it belongs to it will jamm the mechanism inside and possibly even cause damage to the unit. But this is human error and not the fault of the unit.
Third most important thing is to clean your CD's before you commit them to the unit. This unit has excellent tracking,so if your cd's are clean they will play correctly,it also has good anti shock abilities due to its weight and mass.Sound is top of its class out of its digital optic output,and also of high sound quality out of its analog outputs. It is a handsome piece of audio that will complement any audio rack regardless of price and other components in it.
