Nothing against the Sony implementation, but users should think twice before buying a 200 disc player. If you get the whole thing set up, you can have some really cool music experiences, but the setup process, as well as ongoing maintenance, could drive you crazy.
Pros:
1) The category features are great (although a single disc should be capable of entering multiple categories).
2) Sturdy, quiet enough, quicker than expected.
3) Small for a 200-disc.
Cons:
1) The product is best used if you put every CD you own it. If you have more than 200 you like to have access to, this is probably not for you. (Although you can link multiple units together ? you would need $$ and room for this).
2) Set up is brutal. A higher end version has a keyboard adapter (make sure you get this feature if you want to catalog, which you will need because otherwise you will lose track of your CDs).
3) If you listed to CDs outside of this one room, you are in for some frustration. Pulling CDs in and out is difficult, and then returning to the right place is no easy task.
The bottom line is that a big 200 disc players requires you to change you listening and cataloging habits. This is a big commitment.
