Sony CDP-CX350 300-Disc CD Changer

My wife bought this CD player for my birthday in late March 2000 (the big 50). It's been in the shop twice since then. May and July. It begins making a scraping sound after about 15-20 seconds and then stops. I like it when it's working, especially the 'shuffle all discs' mode. It's like having your own radio station. I also like the remote control with the two way read out display and all the available options for programs so that my wife and I can each have our own programs. I am eagerly awaiting it's return as music is a big part of my life.-----------"They" figured it out! I got it back after several weeks and several phone calls to me explaining to "them" what was happening. They realized that I was'nt the problem. Now it is living up to my greatest expectations!
