A great CD changer

Pros Great way to organize medium to semi-large CD collections.
Cons Deep chassis made cabinet fit interesting, but workable.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  This is a great unit that will help you organize your CDs, as well as hear your entire collection more frequently!
I am very fond of this unit. It really helped me to organize my 350+ CD collection.

Loading could be somewhat easier, but is not difficult. I have read comments that these units force you to handle (mishandle) the CDs more. This depends on how often you plan on taking the CDs in/out of the changer. I have used it for the last several months, and I have handled the CDs less than previously, as I primarily leave them in the player.

One thing it does force you to do is to catalog your CDs into some sort of database (unless of course you REALLY want random play). I view this as a positive, however, and once complete it allows several additional pluses. For example, I also own a Philips Pronto. I output the database to a text file, and then use Nudelist to integrate by dB entries into the Pronto menus. I can then call up any CD in the dB by alphabetic listing of Artist, then by title for that artist....very cool!

Detractors (not specific to this unit, but to all sizable changers)
====================
- So what do you do with the CD cases that both gets them out of the way, but still makes them available to read and reference? I've tried a couple of things, but none is perfect.
- Manual entry of artist and title info could be eliminated by allowing some type of Internet connectivity to access the CDDB. There are aftermarket devices, such as the S-Link, that allow this, but sooner or later the unit itself should support this directly. I know....I know......the market is not there yet.
- Should this unit ever break down, and I should need to take it/send it to a service center, removing all of the CDs will not be pretty.

Overall, a very good unit that I use regularly with great performance and reliability.
