Great CD Player For 4X4's

Worth every penny
I actually own a C780. It's basically the same as the C680, except that is has 4 volt preamp outputs for getting a cleaner signal when you use an external amplifier.

Should have kept my Clarion!

Displaying CD-Text is a good idea, but the implementation is lacking.

bump your system at any volume
The Sony CDX-C680 is a very high quality CD player for the money. It has a clear display easy to read which also includes cd text capability.
