Don't buy a cheap brand if all you're looking for is good sound without all the worthless features, buy this deck.
I purchased an CDX-L300 about a month ago (exact same as CDX-L250, except with blue backlit display) for about 130$. I was looking for an inexpensive CD player, without all the added features of the expensive decks. I used to have a JVC El-Kameleon deck, with all the bells and whistles, but unless you're going to install amps, subs, and the like (which I had at the time), all those features are pretty much useless.
What attracted me to this deck is the convenience of simple buttons, ease of use, an AWESOME looking display (the black on blue display looks amazing), the backlit red buttons, and the clean sound. If this is what you're looking for, buy this deck!
