The Bottom Line:
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The same amount of money will deliver better quality, reliability and extras from almost any other known brand.
I went out on a limb and bought my girlfriend this Sony CD player. The price was cheap, $159 at Best Buy, so I thought it would be a good deal. I was wrong. I can't believe Sony makes such ridiculously cheap radios, Actually, lately I believe it. For some reason the FM reception is fuzzy at best and is not helped by her window antennas. The CD player skips often (Mounted in an Isuzu Trooper 4x4). The LED lights are OK as long as you like red, ARGH! There are no extras on this radio, unless you count the fact it plays CD-R. Also, it has funky controls that make it difficult to tune radio manually, and the seek button only finds two station.
My sentiments are not helped when I ask a friend at a installer shop about the radio. First thing out of his mouth,"The CD player will stop working after one (1) year."
And with my luck, after the warranty expires. This one is going back.
