The Bottom Line:
If your after a great sounding stereo that looks the business then this is for you!
I bought this stereo for the colour TFT screen. I needed to replace my ageing CD Player with something that could do MP3's, but I also wanted to be able to watch video too.
I didn't want something that mounted on the dash and I still needed a new MP3 player. This stereo fitted all of my needs and it's great!
I've been extremely impressed with the sound quality and the features. The EQ7 has a range of settings and you can custom set your own presets to fine tune the unit to your system. It's got a wealth of pre-outs, output for a sub-woofer and the all important RCA Video In.
Other reviews seem to dislike the Interface but I've had this unit installed for over 3 months and although the controls take a little getting used to they're straightforward enough if you read through the manual. I personally really like the look and feel and the unit seems very durable and sturdy.
I especially like being able to store my own images on the display.
The only drawback is that the front panel does not detach, not so good on the anti-theft front for an expensive stereo. But at least you can set a security access code on the panel.
Other than that I can't fault it. It looks great, sounds great and plays everything I throw at it (quite loudly!).
