Buy it!!! Europe had been all over this one for a while now...web picx dont show the units beauty! 100% mp3 and cd-r compatibility. Tray loading sux.
Checkin this one out for a while!! finally installed. The deck looks amazing in real life. The matrix display readout where you see the track titles (not to mention the ID3 tags from your mp3s) is a little small- but it's tolerable. The clairity and brightness make up for it. As well as the unit's ability to read many types of mp3 on different cd-r. Load time on a full cd-r (700mb) took about 45 seconds. However after that the discs behaved like regular cd operation. There were no sounds of the unit producing any digital junk or artifacts from decoding. It also has the ability to scan ahead within the track in nice too. If you are looking to upgrade so that you can bring yo mp3s with you and still maintain a great sounding cd deck. Grab this one.
