Superior sounding shelf system from Sony

In brief, the speakers are not boxes but plastic molded trapezoids, only a few inches deep, and Sony utilizes fancy active electronics to achieve excellent sound. The surround sound setting is equally nice. Very open, wide, ambient sound. Very musical.
CDs can be seen spinning through the tempered glass lid on top. The remote is ergonomically designed. Tape includes Dolby B. Choice of blue or gray cloth speaker grills.
Front panel may be red or amber, possibly blue. Mine was amber, earlier version was red.
