Sony CMT-EX200 CD Audio Shelf System

Bought this as an open box item at Tweeter ($185) by pure chance. I had seen the CMT EX100 at Best Buy, but it was also an open box that had been beaten up pretty good. I was going to buy the Sony CMT EX5 but the speakers were hard wired (about 4 ft of wire) and I needed to space them farther apart. I was disappointed and was heading home when on a whim I stopped at Tweeter. Tweeter carries higher end products than the big super stores so I was not expecting to find anything in the price range I was wanting to spend. I was thrilled to see the EX200 because it came with more power and a subwoofer. The only reason I could afford it was that it was an open box item. I think the retail price was around $350. The unit sounds great and looks even better. The only thing I wish it would play are MP3 CDs. I would guess that within the next year most of these mini/micro units will. If you can find this unit (last years model) buy it.
