A good choice for those who like flat screens but can't afford the ultra-high priced flat panel models.
Flat Looking Screen
The screen on this monitor appears totally flat, but for ~$500 you can be sure that it isn't the same technology as a true flat panel monitor. It takes awhile to get used to the flatness. At first, the display appears to be concave, almost the exact opposite way a standard CRT looks. You get used to it pretty quick, though.
Low Glare
I use this monitor at work, and I have had no problems with glare whatsoever. I do a lot of work with Photoshop and DreamWeaver, so this is important.
Great Resolution
.24 dot-pitch is decent, and this thing can handle any realistic desktop resolution you could want (up to 1600X1200).
On-Screen Menus are a Pain
The menus that control all the important view settings are hard to use. The visual interface is Okay, but the physical access sucks. There is a little button/wheel thingie under the monitor that you control the menus with. To go further into a menu or to accept changes, you have to press the button straight in toward the monitor. The wheel also moves in all direction to allow value incrementing. Pushing straight in sometimes results in a left, right, up, or down increment. You can see where this would lead to frustration.
