Great Little Camera

bymonkeybut Jul 11, 2007

Pros Good pictures, simple operation, small and great zoom.
Cons Blurring when target moves and can not see LCD in sunlight.
Recommended it? Yes

This is a super little camera! It is just the right size to fit in your pocket and is light weight. It does not turn on too easy so your battery isn't accidently being used up in your pocket or purse. The only two problems I have experienced with this camera are that the subject must be perfectly... Read full review »

Pros Small, zoomable, big viewer screen.
Cons Generic case should be included. Memory Stick location is odd.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this camera to replace a working Kodak camera that was just getting on my nerves.

The camera operates as it should, zoom is ok, not brilliant, but sufficient for what I need. I like the way it feels and looks.

The software seems simple enough, doesnt take long to load,... Read full review »

byclindstrom1977 Jun 19, 2008

Pros Takes beautiful clear pictures in any setting or lighting!
Cons No zoom capabilities in video mode.
Recommended it? Yes

I adore this camera! It's a wonderful camera for the price – I'm sure much fancier cameras take pictures in a faster sequence, but for a moderate to cheap price, this is an amazing camera.
It's only the second digital camera I've ever owned. The first one (I can't even remember the brand) cost... Read full review »

Pros good pics, good looking camera and pics are easy to upload
Cons print quality

my last camera was a canon elph which cost about $500 around 4 years ago. The sony takes better pics but most importantly runs on AA batteries. The canon used a rechargable battery which cost $50 to replace. Read full review »

very blurry

bymartinezral Aug 23, 2007
4 Helpfuls 5 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Rear display is large and clear
Cons Poor camera for trying to take freehand sharp looking photos
Recommended it? No

This camera is very difficult to take crisp pictures with because it seems to lack any sort of stabilization feature. Plus when you press the button to take the photo, it won't actually snap the photo for 2-3 seconds, so it really causes frustration with strangers offering to kindly snap photos of... Cons Must have memory card. Can only take 16 pix at time.

For the price, this is by the best camera on the market. Got it for Christmas and, boy, was I surprised at the clarity and focus of all of my pictures. Definitely worth it! Read full review »

bad camera in low light

bybluemid Nov 29, 2006
8 Helpfuls 9 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros There is nothing good about a camera that takes blurry pictures at night.
Cons Bad design and needs to be recalled.
Recommended it? No

It eats batteries very fast, low flash and takes terrible pictures indoors at night. Sony will not exchange it for another camera, and I would definitely not buy this camera. There are other better cameras for the similar price and stay away from this one. There is a design flaw and this camera... Read full review »
