Good in good light, but quality of pictures suffers in low light

Pros Excellent pictures in good light. Compact and sexy body. Zippy performance
Cons Low light pictures are sometimes blurry
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  This is an excellent camera, especially if you photograph a lot of wildlife and people during the day. During the night though, don't use the Twilight Portrait mode.
I own one of these and I think it's a very good all round camera. It takes excellent pictures in good light (on one of the program auto settings), but image quality suffers in low light, when using one of the Twilight Portrait modes (i.e. slightly blurry images). When using the auto setting however, images in low light are passable, even if the subject is well lit and the background is pitch black.

I bought this product to replace my old Nikon 2 mega pixel camera, which was starting to show its age.

I quite like the movie mode, quality is very good in sunlight, but when it gets dark, noise starts to creep in - the movies are still usable though.

Performance wise, the T100 is very fast to switch on when you slide down the protective cover. It's very nice to look at (very sexy and stylish). It has a very large LCD screen, which I think is about 3 inches (measured diagonally), and your images look very good on it.

I like the fact that this camera has a 5x optical zoom. As soon as you half way press the shutter button, it removes the shakes and focuses very quickly, until you press the button down completely to take the picture.

Another plus is the transfer process when you connect your camera to your computer. In one word its very fast.

There's not much to hate about this camera. It's slim, stylish, sophisticated, and it's very easy to use. I like the fact that you can change the power of the flash, so it can illuminate from the macro range right up to a medium sized room. What I don't like about the camera is its performance when using the Twilight Portrait mode.
