The Bottom Line:
If a stylish, small, light-weight MP3/CD player is needed, heed the call of this player.
I bought this Sony MP3/CD Player a while ago to replace a Sony Walkman CD player I recently sold. I purchased this player thinking 25 dollars more for MP3 playback isn't bad, so I decided to go for the extra feature. Also, considering the fact that some RioVolt players retail for up to $200, I saw this to be a good deal, as I trust Sony to be a top-of-the-line brand. I'm quite satisfied with this player, and glad I did not purchase a RioVolt player. Playback of MP3s are very easy, just burn them onto a CD and go. The screen may be small and have a slow display of MP3 titles, but considering it was made by the owner of the CD burner, it should be known what is on the CD. Some people complain about button size and placement, but I find that you get used to it after a few uses of the player. While this CD player does have two forms of increasing the bass, the sound tends to distort unless you are using large, "DJ style" headphones. Even though it does not explicitly say on the package "recharges rechargeable batteries," it does. Just plug the adapter in and press "Charge." This player is a solid player, but seems to feel fragile. I highly reccomend this over RioVolt players of the same price.
