Pros Awesome features, flawless anti-skip, best MP3 handling, great display and more
Cons No pause combined - but only minor complaint, this thing ROCKS
Recommended it? Yes

Sony's new D-CJ506CK is hands down Sony's best discman out there, with excellent MP3 handling on top of an already proven and fantastic anti-skip CD/CDR/CDRW system. Beautiful smooth scrolling display and some other nice folder-handling features similar to a PC make this hands down, my favorite... Read full review »

*Excellent* player with only one major issue-- Does G-Protection use LOSSY Compression? Why isn't it mentioned? If you have this player and think it sounds bad, there is a solution..

But first some basic stuff for people who don't own one yet.

Overall this is a much more solid... Read full review »

Pros thin, lightweight, folder skip, long battery life, comes with bonus goodies
Cons none as of yet.

We were about to embark on a road trip from Madison, WI to San Antonio, TX and we wanted to take some music with us. I had been considering an in-dash cd-mp3 player, but they're still pretty expensive so I started to check out the portable cd/mp3 players. By using CDs, the effective memory is so... Pros red backlight, g-protection, long battery life, includes car kit
Cons no pause button, no radio, doesn't use NiMH rechargable batteries like the iRiver...
Recommended it? Yes

While this CD/MP3 player isn't contending to be the best CD player, it certainly is a very good one. The first thing that caught my attention was the red backlight, I only found it because I was bored and searching for products with red backlights. I read about the product and absolutely needed it... Read full review »

Pros no skipping, slim, car accessories, battery life
Cons song navigation tools can be frustrating
Recommended it? Yes

All the other reviewers have said it, but it bears repeating: this unit does not skip due to external disturbances. I've tested it for a month by placing the unity on my car's console between the seats, where I can feel vibrations if I place my hand, for 30 minutes at a time. I've tested it going... Pros Will take any MP3 format thrown at it. Will not skip, period! Batteries last forever.
Cons Needs more volume. Break my eardrums and I'll turn it down. Headphones are weak.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought two other POS (Classic and Koss) which claim they were MP3 and anti-skip, but which proved to be all-the-time skip when exercising. I wanted to hear music while exercising and decided to try Sony as a last resort. Exceeded my expectations, since I don't believe it would skip even if you... Read full review »

I have been waiting to get this product for quite a while, but to be honest, it wasn't as exciting as I hoped. While the design is sleek, I also wished more colors were released... maybe an ice blue.
