I bought the Sony D-E200 because I needed to replace my RCA cd player, which had no buffer. I choose the Sony model because Sony has a good track record with me, and I use many of their other audio products. The styling was great, and I liked the silver color much better than the common black.
I picked one up at The Good Guys, and took it home. I took it out of it's packaging, and set it up. I popped one of my cds in, and turned the volume up. The sound was crystal-clear, and then I turned the Bass Boost on, the effect was spectacular! Even with the included headphones, the sound was perfect! Then the phone rang, and I needed to pause it. But there was no pause button! So, I answered the phone, and then got back to
my music listening. I realized that after you push stop, and then play again, it starts from the exact spot you left off, I knew I would love this product.
Then I began thinking, how good is the anti-skip? I turned the ESP on, and then tried to make it skip (key word: tried). It has to take a lot to make it skip. Even with the ESP off, it hardly skipped. Only the worst bumps would make it skip.
This product would make a great gift, it is perfect in the car (with the car kit), walking, and more! Sony, you have again risen the bar!
