Good quality product and inexpensive. But it may need to be replaced in a year or two.
I got this as a Christmas gift in 2000 and I had to replace it 1 1/2 years later. It took a minor beating (living in my city-bag most of the time). The sound only came through one side of the headphones (the headphones weren't defective) and I had to replace it.
It worked great and sounded great except that the volume didn't get as loud as I expected when at the highest level. The remote functions were useful (play, pause, forward, back, hold) but the remote wire started coming apart after a year, though. The rechargeable batteries were a plus and the battery life was good. They probably lasted between 5-10 hours. The anti-skip worked great. The product quality was good overall except that it only lasted 1 1/2 years.
