Not the best looking, bad battery life
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this player to anybody who wants a portable player, but nothing fancy, and doesn't care too much about looks, but just wants a cheap player.
Intro... I saw this CD player...
I saw this CD player in the store the other day and I noticed it was one I didn't have. I have quite a few cd players, I guess you could say I collect them. I have like a million(well almost)I figured i couldn't be too bad of a buy because it was only 59.99. So I took it home with me.

Style...Not the best.
Although this cd player doesn't have the best design and style it does have a sort of sleek look to it. The cut-off sides give it a different look instead of just being plain round. In my opinion I would of spent a few more dollars to get a sleeker looking player.

Ease of use...
Since this is a very minimal system, the controls are rather easy to use. It is your basic, play, pause, stop, foward, rewind, etc. The volume is on buttons instead of knobs which is very good because when something is a button it doesn't work when you lock the system.

The car kit... Comes with...
The car kit comes with a tape that you put in your tape player so you can play your cd's in your car. I think it would be smarter if sony just took that out and lowered the price because most cars are equipped with cd players now a days. It also comes with a power cord that hooks into your cigarette lighter. This is handy so you don't waste battery life.

Skips... Not to many ith this esp system.
With this skip protection system you can have 25 seconds of bumps before you actually hear any skips. That is because it is armed with 25 second skip protection.
____________________________________________________________
Batteries...Uses Your classic AA batteries.
This player uses classic AA batteries. Since the battery life is only 20 hours i recommend using nimh aa batteries. You can get a pack of 4 of them and a charger for only 10 dollars. They last almost twice as long and can be charged. This player has a built in charger so the batteries never have to leave.

Sound Quality...OK
The sound quality of this discman is ok. Don't expect something you would get from a nicer player (look at my recommendations at the bottom) But for 50 its a nice and clear sound, it could just be fuller.
____________________________________________________________
Conclusion... This is for...
I would recommend this player to anybody who wants a portable player, but nothing fancy, and doesn't care too much about looks, but just wants a cheap player.
