a fairly good discman

cheap, 10 second electronic shock protection, good bass, protects cd under most conditions

This is a cheap discman that has many great qualities. It has a heat resistant lid, 10 seconds of electronic shock protection, and a good digital mega bass. However, the newer models today, which cost a little more, tend to sound better, last longer, look better, and have 40 seconds of electronic shock protection. This is a good discman to use but I would recommend the newer models over it. In about 9 months, it skipped and turned itself off with new batteries. Though infrequent, it can be quite irritating to be in the middle of a song and have it turn off suddenly. Moreover, it skipped more and more with the gain of age.
