A Walkman You can be Mean To

Pros This CD Player takes a licking and keeps on ticking!
Cons No "Random" play selection.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  This Walkman is well worth the price. It's durable and won't dissolve your batteries in less than a day.
As a young adult who does not own a car at the present time, I require some sort of Walkman to listen to music while traveling.

This Walkman has lived through quite a test by being owned by me for nearly a year. Usually, when I buy a portable CD player, I expect it only to have a life of possibly six months. This is mostly because I am gravity-impaired, and drop stuff all the time. The Sony CD Walkman D-E350 has been dropped more times than any CD Walkman I've owned prior, and somehow it still works. It has lasted almost two years, and although it has a few scratches from me constantly dropping it without reason, it still works just fine.

Aside from its ability to take serious shocks, and continue functioning without error, it comes in some rather fly colors, as the kids say. When I went to buy mine, in late 2001, there were at least five different colors: black, white, sliver, yellow, red, and the blue that I invested in were all available.

So if you're in search of a new Walkman, don't be afraid to invest your hard earned American funds into a Japanese product. Sony isn't all bad, honest.
