Sony Walkman D-E405 Personal CD Player

When I bought this product about a year ago I was not looking for an exceptionally good product. More, I was searching for something that had decent functions for a low price. Nowadays, it is difficult to get a quality portable CD players for less that $150. The SONY D-E405 certainly met my query and should meet yours. It has 30 second electronic anti-skip protection. This is usually more time than a person is usually in a bumpy area. The mega-bass button on the console may be hard to find (its underneath on the side) but the added bass rarely detracts from the quality of the music. The AVLS (auto-volume-limiting-system) does not allow the volume to get to high. This is conveniant if children are listening to the discman. All batteries I have used have had a long life. The display is not lighted, but can be easily read in moderate light. This product is also very durable. I have dropped it several times and it continues to run well. Overall, this product is a good buy.
