The best Discman ever.
Pros
pretty, not dorky looking (for a cd player)
Cons
CDs. It is 2007 now after all.
Recommended it?
Yes
This was made shortly before Sony stopped making nice-looking CD players branded "Discman" with "ESP2" and started making tacky circular-shaped players called "Walkman" with "G-Protection..."
The nice shape and good looks are not all you got with this model. It also has great features, such as a backlit screen when plugged into your car or AC adapter (both included). It'll charge your NiMH batteries when plugged in, too. Just wad up a scrap of cardboard so that it depresses the little lever between the batteries. Or buy Sony's expensive rechargeable battery that fits in there.
It never skipped once the whole time I had it. Lasted a couple of years before I finally dropped it for the last time from 3 feet on a tile floor. I still miss it.
