Great CD Player, Just Wish I Had Waited
Pros
A great, all-around CD Player!
Cons
Not many functions, get a mp3 CD Player instead
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
All in all, this is a great CD player, but for about $10 more, I'd get a walkman with mp3 CD capabilities, and an AM/FM Tuner.
$50 Dollars last year bought me this CD Player. Don't get me wrong, I love it to death, however, I wish I had waited a few months longer when the mp3/CD players were released. At around $10 more, I'd rather have a Sony mp3/CD Player. Other than that, this walkman is just what I expected. The stylish look, and great performance is nothing less than I hoped for in this product.
My CDs play beautifully, and are crystal clear. With about 30 different sound levels, the volume is very adjustable, which is especially convenient with mixed CDs (and variable volume levels). It's not backlit or illuminated, but I've memorized all the buttons, so I can listen to CDs at night.
My only real complaint is the lack of effects, and customizability that can be found on many other CD Players. The only function is an enhancer for the bass which exists on two levels. I wish they had included a treble enhancer, or DSP Effects such as Live.
I haven't had any issues with skipping, except for excessively scratched CDs, and I don't really have much to complain about!
