I got the Sony D-EJ611 this year for Christmas and I love it. As I write this opinion I am listening to my favorite song while the kids are in the same room watching cartoons. I can't hear the TV and they can't hear my music, which was a big problem before.
When I go walking at the park I just slip my Walkman in my pocket after programming in my favorite walking music, then slip on my headphones and away I go.
This little player is so tough that I even works perfect after I dropped it on a cement floor and it didn't even skip. If I hadn't felt the tug on the headphones I wouldn't even have known.
This Walkman is very much worth the $69.00 my husband paid for it at Sears. Where we purchased a three-year extended warranty, which I don't think we are going to need.
I must warn everyone though if you are going to do a lot of listening like I do invest in a good set of heavy duty headphones, because the headphones that come with the player are not the best when it comes to endurance.
I would recommend this product to anyone who like their music wherever they go, mine goes with me everywhere. I keep it in my purse along with a few of my favorite CD?s.
