Sony Cd player D-EJ611
Pros
Small, Doesn't skip,charges batteries
Cons
high trebble, makes wierd noises when changing songs
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought this cd player because I wanted a cd player that wouldn't skip while running or something that is repetdly in motion. With a player that has 40 sec skip protection you will have skipping if you jog or wear it during physical activity. With this player that won't happen in most conditions.
I have done a few tests on this and here are the results:
With the g-protection off:
Droped it 4 ft onto couch- no skip
tapped firmly for 18 seconds- no skip
4 inches onto table- no skip
4 inches onto table repeatedly-skiped
With G-protection on
Droped 3 ft onto couch over and over(got bored)-no skip
Tapped firmly until bored- no skip
Jumped stair to stair down 10 stairs with player in pocket, didn't skip until last stair.
So hopefuly you can see that this cd player is quite different from some of the others out in this big bad world. The only thing that I noticed to be a down side is that it sounds as if the treble is a tad high but it is hardly noticable. The base sounds great and is adjustable.
This player is great for joggers and active people who want something small to slip into their pocket. It wasn't really designed for people who hook it up to speakers because I found it doesn't sound as great as some others but it isn't bad.
