Not a bad player
Pros
small and compact, recharges batteries, doesnt skip, remote control, streetstyle headphones, free handstrap carrying case
Cons
Carrying case fits too tight, headphone cord is too short and not very durable,
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
If you can get this for a good price go for it, don't spend anymore then $100 on it.
Pros:
Small and compact, this CD player is small enough to go almost anywhere.
Recharges Batteries, the Sony D-EJ715 comes with 2 rechargeable batteries (not charged) and can recharge them in a short amount of time.
Doesn't Skip, it has what Sony calls G-protection I haven?t heard this skip even while running and mowing the lawn.
Remote Control, it comes with a 'in line' remote control which you can use if you have the player tucked into a backpack or something, unfortunately the cord for the remote makes the head phone cord way too long and it becomes a hassle, i had to use a twist tie thing(you know that comes with bread) too make the cord manageable.
Streetstyle headphones, this CD player also comes with Sony streetstyle headphones, the ones that go behind your head, i already used this type of headphones and mine were getting old and worn so i thought it was great i could get a new pair for free instead of paying $20.
Free Handstrap Carrying Case, included is a black carrying case with a strap for your hand, its a good looking case with imprints where the buttons are so you can push them through the case.
Cons:
The problem with the carrying case is it fits too tightly, and you cant find the volume buttons through the case, the problem with the tight case is that the headphone jack is usually partially covered and when you use the remote it wont go in all the way and the music will cut in and out if you don?t hold it in all the time.
The headphones aren't quite the ones you buy in the stores, the black ones that you get when you buy this are a bit cheaper, the cord is really thin and easier to wear down so sometimes if the cord is positioned wrong one side of the headphones might not work. The cord is also really short, and when you plug it into the remote then it becomes way too long.
