This is a cheaper unit but it makes up for it in performance and durability. I have dropped this on concrete and it did not break or even skip the CD so for me this is a very big plus for this.

Pros Mini-Disc Output, very slim and lightweight, easy to find buttons in dark.
Cons Wasting money on inline remote, unless active person.

Cons Carrying case fits too tight, headphone cord is too short and not very durable,

Pros:
Small and compact, this CD player is small enough to go almost anywhere.

Recharges Batteries, the Sony D-EJ715 comes with 2 rechargeable batteries (not charged) and can recharge them in a short amount of time.

You need this if you're active. Otherwise, any number of portable CD players would do.
