Good sound quality possible, depending on amp system. Didn't skip when severly jarred ... surprised me. Sold with a cassette car adapter system, which should be taken off the market. Lousy sound for the added expense. Very disappointed that it is still being included in many Sony, and others products. Really enjoy using it with my home amp system, and Macintosh 8500 Power/PC.
