My first CD Walkman
Pros
G-Protection, stamina, remote, and earphone.
Cons
Mega Bass
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
It's slim and cool, has good sound, remote, earphones, and skip protection. You won't regret buying this!
This is my first CD Walkman. I don't have bad experiences with this CD walkman. Let me explain it one by one.
I bought this SONY D-EJ825 for it was very slim and cool, and I didn't need VCD function. I did not like to watch movie in TV. So, I bought this.
Since that time until now ( 2nd July ) I have had it for one week.
The G-protection (skip protection) works very well. It won't skip eventhough I have shaken it for two minutes and I have drop it onto my bed. Isn't it cool or what!
The rechargeable batteries are very thin. The size is just like two long bubblegum (Wrigles). The stamina is awesome. It can play the CD Player up to 15 or 20 hours ( estimated by myself ) You can charged them in the CD player with an AC Adaptor ( supplied ).
The earphones are good too. The bass is very loud but the high treble (cymbal) is rather small.
It also has many playback modes, such as repeat all, repeat one track, shuffle, program, play one track only, repeat program and repeat shuffle. I cannot figure two more.
The remote is good. The LCD is backlighted, so you can read it in dark. It's rather confusing for the first time, but you'll get used to it. The plugs are gold plated, so signal loss will reduced.
It has an external battery case for two AA batteries. In case you want to use two AA batteries, just insert them into the battery case and plug it. The stamina is 50 hours (from the specification).
The carrying case is very functional. It can carry the external battery case, the CD walkman, and a few CD.
One thing that I hate is the Mega Bass. The second one is rather too loud, but the first one is rather too small. It should be in three levels. But I prefer to use the second one.
Well, if you want a CD player only with slim and cool design, awesome skip protection, good sound, great stamina, and cool remote, this is your answer.
Note :
My D-EJ825 is supplied with silver remote with green backlight and with short cable earphone, not headphone.
It can play CD-R, but I have never tried to use CD-RW since I don't have any.
It can support CD-TEXT
