The Bottom Line:
Simply the best cd portable available on the market.
I was looking around for a portable CD player for use at the gym and when I am stuck on campus during the day. After researching the many different Sport Walkmans Sony sells I ran into this model on the website. I was initially enamored with the small size and the look of the player, after reading about the model I realized I must have it.
The D-EJ925 sports the slimmest and lightest cd portable in the world moniker, the actual body of the player is half as thick as a deck of cards and only slightly bigger diameter than the cd. Sony includes Ni-MH rechargeable batteries and a dc power cord. The player is controllable from the side via small buttons on the body and a LCD mini pen controller, which fits easily in your hand or can be clipped on to your sleeve. The controller is easy to use on the run and quickly. The two levels of G-Protection(Anti-Skip) are really great, the first level is for normal use, but I found that the player would not skip until I get into a full-fledged run. The second level is will not skip a bit, and trust me I have tried. The overall quality of the player is very high with an aluminum-plated body that will seem to withstand just about anything. Plus it looks supercool...
My only negatives on the player were the inclusion of a base model pair of headphones, that I can't understand why they would even bother including. As well as a semi-functional case with hand strap, that is more trouble than it is convenient.
