For Christmas, I wanted a new portable CD player because my one I got in 1995 didn't cut it anymore. I recieved the Sony DF411 from my parents and I saw on the package it said it recieved the radio. Right from the start, I knew this would be a good player. I opened it up, tested it out, and it worked great. It has a massive 20 second skip protection on it, and the output quality is awesome. It also has a nice bass boost, and can go really loud. It even came with a nice pair of headphones. One of the most important things, though, is that it does play my music CD-R's, which is a major plus. I asked my mom how much she spent on it and she said a little less than one hundred dollars and my reaction was "Wow, what a great price for such a great device."
The DF411 has some other nice features like setting your favorite radio stations, car output, and more. The only problem I have found with it is minor, but sometimes the radio comes in with static if you are near a lot of electronic devices or are underground. Overall a great player.
