The best out there
This is an absolutely wonderful CD player. I needed a new one a couple months ago when my Philips broke for no reason and so I researched and bought this one. I have been completely satisfied. I knew it would be good coming from Sony, but I was still truly impressed.

Absolutely AMAZING!

Well worth the extra $$
Shelling out the extra money for this particular model was justified. Having a FM,AM,TV, and weatherband along with a great CD player that doesn't skip is a treat for anyone on the move. Technical problems
I received this Walkman for Christmas this year. Within a week or so of light use, there was a slight crackling that was audible whenever the headphone plug is touched. Also, the volume control completely stopped working - the volume is stuck at a constant level.
