Pros Great sound quality, reasonable price, gravity protection, small
Cons When you press stop, it pauses, headphones are cheap, opens from the side, fuzzy noise

I love the portable technology these days. MP3's are popular, but CDs gain the big mainstream bucks and they are certainly my favorite media. This is an absolutely wonderful CD player. I needed a new one a couple months ago when my Philips broke for no reason and so I researched and bought this one. I have been completely satisfied. I knew it would be good coming from Sony, but I was still truly impressed.

After my previous Walkman broke, I needed to replace it. I researched here on epinions and planned on buying the Sony DF-200 model. When I went to the store, the TV and Weather bands on the D-FJ401 model caught my eye. It was a bit more expensive, but well worth it!

Pros 4 bands (AM/FM/VHF TV/Weather), long battery life, rarely skips CD's
Cons Too many overall presets, easy to hit the wrong button when playing CD's

Pros Great sound, great reception, feature-rich, DOES NOT SKIP!
Cons Buttons are a bit small, line out doesn't have same features

Shelling out the extra money for this particular model was justified. Having a FM,AM,TV, and weatherband along with a great CD player that doesn't skip is a treat for anyone on the move. Pros Beautiful streamlined design, easy controls, weather bands, TV audio
Cons Defective headphone plug and audio control on mine

I received this Walkman for Christmas this year. Within a week or so of light use, there was a slight crackling that was audible whenever the headphone plug is touched. Also, the volume control completely stopped working - the volume is stuck at a constant level.
