Cons
Doesn't play CD-RWs.

Yes
Since my old CD player was nearing the grave, I decided it was time to find an ample replacement. My former companion, a Philips, had Anti-Shock and could play CD-RWs. This one, has G-Protection and a Radio. One of these changes was for better, one for worse. However, overall, this is a much better player than my previous one.
First off, This CD-Player is almost a perfectly round disc, and it one of the smallest ones I have ever seen. Basically, it is the size of a CD and the thickness of about 10 stacked up. Translation = as small as possible for a CD player.
Other features that are awesome with this player are things like the new G-Protection, and a 32 hour battery life. In fact, the instructions claim that the batter life is LONGER with protection on than off. I've never bothered to turn it off, but it lasts a very long time and never skips. I'm kind of a clutz and dropped it about 2 feet once, and it didn't skip or stop playing or anything. I've heard that instead of a buffer like Anti-Shock, G-Protection keeps the laser with the CD at all times, and that's how it keeps itself from skipping. I'm not sure how accurate that description is, but it's what I heard.
The radio is a nice addition, but it's not very strong. The reciever the headphone wire, so if you turn your head you might lose the station you were listening to (in FM anyway). The Radio is fairly weak, but it is always nice to have something to turn to if you get tired of your CDs. And 30 preset stations is nothing to cry about either. And it also has a place for a headphone remote, so if you do have one it can be put to use here.
Now for the bad. There really isn't much, but I think the biggest part for me was the fact that it can't play CD-RWs. Without this feature, I have to burn new CD-Rs every time I find more good tunes. However, if you're not into burning that this has no meaning for you anyway. Another minor complain is that Resume can't turn off, and once you reach the last track hitting foward doesn't bring you to number 1 again. This is just a little nuisance that takes some getting used to, but after a week or so you don't even notice. And the way to turn resume off is to just open up the cover for a sec or so.
Overall, this is a nice, small, durable, versatile CD-Player. I am very pleased with it's performance, and do not regret buying it at all.
*Please note that the picture displayed does NOT match the Cdplayer that is reviewed here. The picture is of a higher model, and the one I was talking about is silver without a remote, not blue with a LCD remote as shown.
