Pros Comfortable grip, Long battery life, Waterproof, Exceptional skip protection.
Cons Occasionally loses EQ settings when batteries get low. Weak AM/FM reception. Expensive.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this product to use for running in all weather conditions & for my morning commute on the train. I have had the product since 8/16/02.

Pros Please read the cons.
Cons Distortion when playing rock CD w/ mid or max bass is unacceptable.
Recommended it? No

The other reviews are correct on the Sony D-FS601 .... At first glance, the Sony D-FS601 portable CD player is that awesome Volvo 240-like durability that is a marquee of Sony "Sports" equipment. Awesome.

Pros HQ sound. Built to last. Great AM/FM with TV band. 50 hr battery. user friendly.
Cons None so far.
Recommended it? Yes

This was above what I initially wanted to spend. However, the AM/FM/W/TV tuner and the high quality weather-tight construction won me over. Pros Best player, great for sports, and best battery life and durability out there.
Cons You should buy headphones for listening inside; TV and weather band don't completely...

Pros Has digital AM/FM radio tuner, never skips, and is easy to use.
Cons Takes awhile to get used to combined buttons and average sound quality.
