THE PERFECT CAR CD PLAYER!!!

bynhl37 Feb 13, 2002
Pros Never skips! Great car features.
Cons Auto resume a little slow
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I bought it solely for my car. It works perfectly, and NEVER skips! What more can I say?
I just got my first car in August '01, and the first thing I got for it was this CD player, which came in a car kit. My dad has gone through plenty of CD players in his car, most of them were Panasonic's, and all of them performed badly. I live in the hills of NW New Jersey, so I drive on bad roads pretty frequently. In the 7 months I've owned it, this CD player has NEVER skipped! Not once. The sound quality is great, and if you buy the car kit, it comes with a small joystick that attaches next to your seat so you don't have to go searching for buttons while you're driving. I haven't really used it that much outside my car, but I have noticed that the batteries that come with it are rechargable and last a very long time, the headphone cord is long, and once again it doesn't skip. I do sometimes have a problem with the headphone jack, it doesn't connect properly and I get broken sound sometimes, but I rarely use the headphones, so I don't care. I haven't heard others complain, so it must be isolated. The only thing I would suggest is a belt clip or something, since it won't really fit into most pockets, and although it comes with a wrist strap just in case you drop it, you still have to carry it. Overall, it costs a pretty penny, but it's definitely worth it!
