I took mine back
Recently my JVC DVD player died, the laser waved a last goodbye while playing some Disney movie to my daughter.

Sony DAV-C700 Is Not recommended as a buy- Multiple Problems over 3 Years
I would not recommend anyone buy the Sony DAV-C700 machine. In the 4 years that I've owned this machine, I've had two major problems. One that I need to get fixed now.
Problem 1: The DVD Door wouldn't open. Had to send it to Sony for repair. This took over 3 weeks to get repaired.

Defective Unit.
I bought this DVD Changer/Player mainly because of the sony name, and that it had a 5 disc changer. It worked great for a year, then slowly deteriorated. It will no longer play my DVDs.
